J. P. Maguire of Cork is now in America for the purpose of writing a book on the condition of the Irish in that country. He wishes to obtain information from Purcell. P.S.—Connolly has obtained all that the bishops in the Lower Provinces have been contending for the last forty years. They are to have all the privliges of the Protestant minority in Canada; separate schools in the most unrestricted sense all committees named by the bishops; all teachers appointed and dismissed under their authority. :: II-5-c A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
