He was pleased to learn that the Bulls for the consecration of Father Peter J. Lavialle as bishop of Louisville have arrived. He has just been informed that Father John J. Conroy has sent his Bulls back declining the diocese of Albany. He is glad of the decision given by the Holy See in regard to the Fenians for that society has done much harm to religion and to the Irish people.
