He began the new work Purcell has given him to do. He will carry out Purcell's instructions as faithfully as he is able. Purcell instructs him to win an entree to the houses of Protestants. The lost of the house of Israel have a prior claim to his time. Purcell has directed him to go to Chillicothe once a month while Father T. Tierney will be in Zaleski or Quinn's Settlement. Tierney wants to know if both places are to be attended but once every two months. Ahern asks if he has the privilege of saying two Masses on Sunday. :: II-5-b A.L.S. 3pp. 12mo.
