When he settled his accounts with the trustees of St. Philomena's church he asked them what they could give for the bishop's support. They said that they were too poor. Navarron lists the statistics of the parish on collections, marriages, etc. Including what he received for his own support. He sends $20 for the Orphans of Cumminsville from the Catholics of Stonelick. He asks Borgess to present his respects to the Archbishop John Baptist Purcell and to tell him that he was unable to make the last pastoral retreat because he had no boy to care for his house or do his work, and he could not shut up his house. :: II-5-b A.L.S. 2pp. 8vo.
