Claypool, John W., Indianapolis, Indiana to James F. Edwards, Toledo, Ohio, 1909 December 29
Scope and Contents
Under the terms of George Rhodius' will, Edwards gets $20,000 and the University of Notre Dame gets $5,000. He lists other bequests. He will do all he can to get the breastpin that Edwards speaks of. These things must wait until he is appointed executor and then he can take it up with the court. There is talk of a compromise; it might be wise for the beneficiaries under the will to consent to a scaling of their bequests rather than take the chances of long litigation. He wants Edwards to give him his views privately. :: XI-2-i L.S.(typed) 1p.
