He writes to apologize for the postal card he sent; a man with indigestion is at times not responsible. He tells of his illness. May 2 is their regular Sodality Sunday; in addition come their A.O.H., Tuesday February 14, 1865 he was 21 years old and initiated into the A.O.H. He has never missed that one Sunday. Edward Miller, Peru, Indiana of '60 and '61 a brother of Thomas B. Miller Dave Fitzgibbon, Indianapolis and he are the three boys that expect to go to Notre Dame University in June. He has his knife, fork and spoon and most of his uniform of the N.D.C.C. There were 127 students in '59 and '60. The great wreck on the L.S. & M.S. between Mishawaka and South Bend occurred June, 1859. :: XI-2-l A.L.S. 1p.
