Harson, M.J., Providence, Rhode Island to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1902 December 23
Scope and Contents
He was pleased to learn that his article in The Pilot impressed Edwards so favorably. He would like to help along the world of Catholic thought. Those with positive faith in God could be easily numbered. This outburst explains his admiration for Orestes A. Brownson. Twenty years ago he wrote to Lawrence Kehoe expressing a hope that he would do certain things. Kehoe replied there were many things he could do if he had support. The Catholic public spirit has changed very little. He sent the plaster cast of the Brownson bust to Georgetown University but will present a replica to Notre Dame when it is made. He trusts his picture will please Edwards. Mr. Feely wishes that he send Edwards regards. :: XI-2-e A.L.S. 5pp.
