He was sorry to learn of Edwards' trouble concerning the eye. It was probably due to a cold. The balmy spring days of Notre Dame will greatly bebefit Edwards. It is his duty to take care of himself. Carroll distinctly remembers Father Nicholas Stoffel C.S.C for he was his Greek teacher in 1878. Stoffel was a splendid teacher and a saintly man.
