He had an attack of malaria and had to go to the infirmary. His work is discouragingly behindhand. It was pleasant to learn that Edwards is having a visit with Mgr. Seton. He hears Seton is going back to Rome to spend his days. The chapter elected Mother Perpetua as Mother-General. Sister Aquina got her old place. Mother Lucretia will probably return to Salt Lake. Father Petro Franciscus C.S.C. was changed to Professed House; Father Thomas Corbett, C.S.C., Corby Hall; Father William A. Olmsted was named for the Ave Maria office, though it is rumored that he has left the Community.
