He often wondered what became of Edwards. Poor Father Peter Cooney C.S.C. wrote Kilroy twice inside of two months. Kilroy hopes that Cooney has recovered his sight. So Bro. Cuss in gone with the rest. Poor Father Frances Gousse! Kilroy knew him well. Gousse was Father Sorin's noire bete. P.S. A friend congratulated him the other day, stating that he read in the World Almanac that he was the oldest living graduate of Notre Dame, having graduated in 1859.
