Scope and Contents
He had several letters from Notre Dame but not a word about Edwards. He just got back from Toronto and Niagara Falls where they had a celebration of the Golden Jubilee of the Loretto Nuns. Their Loretto Abbey is the largest and finest boarding school in Canada. The new archbishop of Toronto Denis O'ConnorC.S.B. is an old friend of Kilroy's. Kilroy asks that Edwards return his Commissions from the state of Indiana to the Army of the Cumberland. Father Corby took them to Notre Dame when he last visited Kilroy. He is glad the president of Notre Dame is such a success. He supposes Father John A. Zahm is devoting all his time to the spiritual advancement of the Community. :: XI-2-b A.L.S. 2pp.
