Kilroy, Father Edmund B., Stratford, Ontario, Canada to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1899 January 16
Scope and Contents
He should have written sooner but thought he would pay Edwards a visit when going south. But the friend who was to be his companion on the trip is laid up with the grippe. He is glad to hear that Notre Dame is still advancing to the front. He looks upon Mother Ascention, C.S.C. as his ideal religious. Father Peter Paul Cooney, C.S.C. has forgotten to write to him. That everlasting book of Cooney's keeps him busy. Father James Walsh of Toronto could give Edwards some relics of his uncle the late Archbishop of Toronto. :: XI-2-b A.L.S. 2pp.
