He thanks Edwards for the picture of Notre Dame. It calls up many happy days and the recollection of many good times when the Crescent Club and little private library seances made brighter the week's work. A friend of his gave him a dinner the other day. He spent a good share of time for the Orphan's Fair. They hope they make enough to pay off the indebtedness.
