Carroll, Alice and Frank: Boston, Massachusetts to James F. Edwards Notre Dame, Indiana, 1898 June 11

 Item — Box: CEDW 8, Folder: 18
Identifier: CEDW XI-2-a

Scope and Contents

It seems so good to hear from Edwards. This place is so beautiful and right in front of the ocean. One can breathe in the pure salt air from the ocean. She really did not know how dear and fond Edwards was to them till the trial came. A true friend so good and noble is a treasure and Edwards' presence is uplifting and teaches them to bear trials with Christian fortitude. They want him to come. By some good deeds she can repay her teasing of last summer. Frank is so happy Edwards will be able to come on. God is so good to spare Edwards.
