Scope and Contents

He has asked that copies of General Rosecran's memorial be sent to Edwards. He thought he gave Edwards the information he asks. The little brass crozier originally belonged to Archbishop Purcell and was given to Bishop Sylvester H. Rosecrans when he was consecrated auxiliary bishop of Cincinnati. The large crozier was given to Rosecrans by the priests of the diocese of Columbus. Rosecrans always used the little one except at the Cathedral. His Bulls are in Columbus.
