Burns, William P., Washington, D. C. to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1897 December 06
Item — Box: CEDW 8, Folder: 12
Identifier: CEDW XI-1-o
Scope and Contents
The increase of lay students at Catholic University has been rather slight. Most of them are law students. The course in law is very thorough. He can now realize the true worth of Edwards' generous advice in regard to a profession. For the average young fellow literature means slavish labor and starvation. He feels that he can never repay Edwards' kindness and forbearance with him when he was so headstrong. Jim Flynn will graduate in medicine this year. :: XI-1-o A.L.S. 3pp.
