Eyanson, Thomas E., Seattle, Washington to Charles, 1896 November 26
Scope and Contents
When in Philadelphia he found in the library of the American Catholic Historical Society a record by a Jesuit priest of their family living in Salem County, New Jersey, from 1759 to 1776. His grandfather had a nail factory which was suppressed by the British government. He was born in Maryland. He would like to know if there is a record of these early settlers in Maryland. Perhaps it would be among some of the church records as they were all Catholics. He asks Charles to see if anything can be found in the Notre Dame library. :: XI-1-n A.L.S. 2pp.
