Conformably to Edwards' request, he wrote his reminiscences of Prof. Max Girac. Judge Howard may desire to avail himself of Carrier's souvenirs of the great musician. He may write a short notice of Prof. Stanislaus Beleke. He is afraid Timothy Howard will have little time to complete the history of Notre Dame.
