Scope and Contents
Since he saw Edwards in New York, he has met with some disappointments. He went to Van Buren, Maine, and found his intended place engaged. He had enough money to bring him to Sussex where he is enjoying the hospitality of a poor priest. A decree has been passed that anyone getting a dispensation from a religious order must remain in some house of his order until he gets a bishop. He intends to write to Father Corby to get a place and asks the loan of $ 20 to get to New York. :: XI-1-l A.L.S. 3pp.
