Item — Box: CEDW 6, Folder: 01
Identifier: CEDW XI-1-k
Scope and Contents
He has just read her letter and he is sure he did not refuse to lend her the originals. He said that he would send them to her if she would promise to return them to him within a week. He prizes the letters more than anything because the letters were written to him by one for whom he entertains the most intense reverence and love. He states incidences to explain why he will not give the letters to her without the promise of return. :: XI-1-k A.L.(unsigned) 4pp.
