Kelly is glad the articles reached their destination. The donor of the missal was Eliza McBride of a bitter Presbyterian family. On her conversion her brothers deprived her of the income left to her by her father. Later she moved to Rome with another convert Ella B. Edes, a niece or granddaughter of the Episcopal Bishop Jonathan Mayhew Wainright of New York. McBride died a few years ago.
