She is sorry to hear of the death of Madame Gregori. She is sending Father Daniel E. Hudson the "Mustere du Sang" over which there was so much talk relative to the letter of the Pole and in which Cardinal Manning took his part. She cannot understand all this sickly sentimentality over the wrongs of the Jews. P. S. Archbishop Corrigan had painted by M. De Rhoden, the original artist, a copy of St. Veronica.
