Some years ago his father loaned to Patrick Curran the first two volumes of Francis Plowden's History of Ireland, printed in 1806. Prior to his death Curran had been living at Notre Dame and Barnes was informed that the books were given to Notre Dame. He should be pleased to hear from Edwards in regard to the books.
