She thanks him for his letter. Sister F. sends her warmest good wishes. It is not certain about Father General Edward Sorin, C.S.C. going to Europe. At first Sorin was not clear about the approbation of the rules of the Sisters of Holy Cross but now he sees better. Father Thomas E. Walsh C.S.C. made a great speech in town on the 30th. Brother Felix has charge of giving the boys the books from the library. Bishop Caspar H. Borgess of Detroit visited Notre Dame for a few days. They have planted trees in that space between the gym and the reading room. Father Sorin will baptize four Minims on the 6th. B. Graham came back. The corner-stone of Holy Cross Seminary was laid yesterday. Father Walsh is going to dinner with Clem Studebaker's this evening. :: XI-1-g A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
