Hyde, John, Detroit, Michigan, to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1888 September 15
Scope and Contents
Hyde sends the books he spoke of when he saw Edwards at Notre Dame. He felt much mortified at writing Edwards, asking to be remembered to Professor Joseph A. Lyons, learning the next day from the Freeman's Journal that he was in his grave. Hyde hopes he will die as well prepared as Lyons. He supposes that Maurice Francis Egan is already at Notre Dame and sends his respects, if he is. He is glad he is not associated with the Fords. He sends his regards to all his Notre Dame friends. He had a pleasant call from Mr. and Mrs. William J. Onahan of Chicago today. :: XI-1-f A.L.S. 2pp. 8vo.
