Amoretti, Eugene, Montrose, Colorado, to his son at Notre Dame Eugene Amoretti Jr., 1887 February 1
Scope and Contents
He is sorry to hear that he has been sick. The Road he spoke of being at work on was finished in twelve days; there was not much money in it for him. He is proud to see his son's name on the Roll of Honor. He is anxious for him to be a good draftsman. He has a couple of Indian relics which he will send to the Historical Department of Notre Dame. They are vessels made of reeds closely woven for carrying water. This section of the country was occupied many years ago by the Navajoes. Note: Found among James F. Edwards' papers. :: XI-1-e 4pp. 12mo.
