Scope and Contents
Mother Ascension has informed Edwards that Madame has promised to assist them in securing souvenirs of Cardinal John B. de Cheverus, first Bishop of Boston. They have established a national monument to the American Bishops in the form of a Bishops' Memorial Hall . They are particularly anxious to secure a mitre used by the first Bishop of each diocese. Edwards will be obliged if she can inform them of any person who can assist them in getting souvenirs of Bishop Dubourg, first Titular Bishop of New Orleans, later Archbishop of Bescanon. :: XI-1-d A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.
