Griffin, Martin I. J., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1885 November 12
Item — Box: CEDW 2, Folder: 07
Identifier: CEDW XI-1-c
Scope and Contents
It is an incentive to work on in local Catholic historical labor to hear as Edwards tells that from the description he published an ideal portrait of Bishop Michael Egan of Philadelphia is to be made. He has been trying to find out the color of the bishop's hair. Griffin must keep his promise to send his photo, but it's like having a tooth pulled. St. Anthony has been Griffin's historical patron; he has never deserted him when he wanted to find out something new. :: XI-1-c A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.
