Windhorst is invited to attend the American Catholic Congress to be held in Baltimore Nov.11-12, as a guest of the American laity. The Congress has the sanction of Cardinal Gibbons and the leading members of the American Catholic Hierarchy. The meeting of the Congress is called in connection with the 100th anniversary of the consecration of Bishop Carroll—the first Catholic Bishop in the United States.
