Scope and Contents
He thanks McMahon for his letter of May 23. He realizes that the Committee thought it best to go to New London temporarily this summer. He is glad that the sentiment is in favor of the Thousand Islands and he is confident that they can find a good place between Clayton and Alexandria Bay. The thanks for the excursion are appreciated. His regret is that because of the size of the party it was not as pleasant as they desired. :: I-1-j - Typed L.S. - 1p. - 8vo. - {1}
