Giesen's sister in Holland sent him two Dutch prayers which he hopes someone at the University will translate. The Czar allows but one religion in Russia; Catholics, Lutherans, and Jews are persecuted. The Orthodox Archbishop wanted to bring into his Greek Church a small Catholic village near Vilna, Lithuania. The moment he wanted to execute his plan he fell dead. :: X-3-m L.S. 2pp. 8vo.
