Scope and Contents
With Hudson's letter of July 22 Osouf received a draft for $163.84 instead of the $145 which Hudson announced. This adds to the alms of the charitable readers of Ave Maria. Osouf has sent the entire sum to their procurator for the hospital of Father Testevuide and he will says the 25 Masses for the dead. Father A Pettier is at Yokohama scarcely living with his poor health. Father Mugabure is once more in exile from Japan looking for help to continue to live and work in poverty. if he goes to the United States Mugabure will take advantage of the hospitality at Notre Dame. :: X-3-l A.L.S.
