Stoddard, Charles Warren, Washington, District of Columbia, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1890 June 13
Item — Box: CHUD 14
Identifier: CHUD X-3-k
Scope and Contents
It was written by one of their pupils, a priest, who owns stock in the newspaper. He is a fool and a bore. Will Hudson get Stoddard a photograph of Mr. Coyne? Rudyard Kipling's reputation has come so suddenly that he doubts it will last. He found the article on Robert Louis Stevenson entertaining. Fred Somers, the editor of Current Literature, is not a Catholic, but is favorably disposed. Stoddard has just been showing "Ambos" of the Chicago Tribune through the house. :: X-3-k A.L.S. 4pp. 8vo.
