Farrell acknowledges receipt of the pictures and Hudson's letter thanking her for the box of souvenirs. Mrs. George Dyer will send two sets of glasses for the spectacles. Farrell sends an autograph of Archbishop Peter Kenrick which is thirty-five years old. She regrets she has burned almost hundreds of letters, Bishop James de St . Palais, Bishop Sylvester Rosecrans, Fathers Francis Weninger, Damen Van Gock and Mr. Patrick V. Hickey . Farrell has kept a letter from James Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop Patrick Ryan and Father Edward Sorin .
