Scope and Contents
Sister was away from home at Easter and has been busy since. She had a visit to her sister's Sister Hilda Gallagher, little "Cottage Convent", Latrobe. Sister is going to send Hudson the photographs of her father and brother Gus. She also has pictures of her cousins Drexels and their late father Francis Anthony Drexel and their uncle Athony Joseph Drexel and their uncle J Lankenau who built a hospital under the care of Lutheran nuns. Sister is glad they will get something of the life and letters of Sister Angela Gillespie, C.S.C. . The new craze in the Academy is the violin. Is not Hudson sorry for Dr. Edward McGlynn? Did Hudson see the scathing criticism of John Gilmary Shea's new work by Martin J. Griffin of Philadelphia?
