She thanks Hudson for the review of Miss Minnie Gilmore's volume of poems. She had asked her to send Hudson a copy of her volume, "Pipes From Praire-Land". Gilmore had a story in Leslies recently, which for masterly treatment of character ranks with George Eliot's short stories. A story of hers together with two sets of verses were accepted by the Current, a journal which is widely copied out West. She has written a sketch of Gilmore for the Graphic News.
