DeVeuster sends Hudson a copy of a letter to the Superior-General of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts, Father Marcellus Bousquet, which may be of use to Hudson and of interest to the readers of the Ave Maria. Since Ira B. Dutton' s arrival he has helped him care for the sick. Because the tabernacles of both churches are not decent enough to preserve the Blessed Sacrament and at Dutton's suggestion, DeVeuster asks Hudson to send him metal with which they can make two tabernacles.
