Scope and Contents

Mullen does not know if Angers, the artist in Rome is the same as the Italian exile that was in New York. The painting will cost fifty-five lire and he will send it to Mother Patricia. He was unable to change Father McLaughton's opinion of Edes. He inquired of Father A. Martinolli, the director of the Pious Union about the misunderstanding about which Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C. wrote, Martinolli stated Father-General Sorin to whom a diploma had been given by Father Belgrano, had written that the religious of the order Congregation of Holy Cross were unwilling to enroll as members of the Pious Union. Why Hudson should mention his name he cannot imagine. :: X-3-c A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
