Dorsey, Anna Hanson, Washington, District of Columbia, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1885 December 2
Scope and Contents
Dorsey thanks Hudson for the $100 check and the book entitled "Mad Penitent of Todi". She got the "Story of Jacopone" from "The Life of Frederick Ozanam" by Kathleen O'Meara . What are Hudson's doubts about "Palms"? Dorsey prizes the poem addressed to her by a Portuguese friend and regrets that it was not printed in the Ave Maria because the person probably saw Eliza Allen Starr and Eleanor Donnelly complimented by poetic tributes in the Ave Maria. Nellie Ella Lorraine Dorsey received Hudson's letter; Dorsey will leave the matter of the edition in Hudson's and her hands. She requests one of Father John A. Zahm 's books. :: X-3-a A.L.S. 6pp. 12mo.
