Dorsey, Anna Hanson, Washington, District of Columbia, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1885 November 11

 Item — Box: CHUD 8
Identifier: CHUD X-3-a

Scope and Contents

Dorsey sends a part of her story "Palms". She is delighted that Christian Reid's Frances Tiernan new story will counterbalance the gravity of hers. Dorsey is in need and asks Hudson for an advance on her story. The article in the Ave Maria stating that letters of the Earl of Shrewsbury relating to the death of Mary Stuart had been found greatly interests Dorsey. She enjoyed Charles Warren Stoddard 's sketch of his search for Joachim Miller in Rome. There is excitement about the new Catholic University; opinion is divided among the clerics as to its necessity. :: X-3-a A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
