Nealis's husband met her when she arrived in St. John. He is a changed man and has not touched a drop in eighteen months. If Nealis must leave he will let her take any of the boys. Mother Cochran thinks Nealis should stay. Her husband talks of selling the business and moving to Chicago, so that they could send their sons to Notre Dame. Nealis received a letter form D.
