Edwards was sorry to hear of Brother Gregory's John Noonan death. He suggests that Hudson and Father Thomas Walsh take a trip to Europe for their health. Archbishops James Gibbons, Patrick J. Ryan, and Father John S. Foley, all stopped at Cape May. Edwards visited each and they promised articles for the Notre Dame Historical Cabinet.
