Murphy thanks Hudson for the book. Two months ago Murphy underwent an operation, but has recovered enough for missionary work. He has begun the first of his series of seven articles entitled "Spiritual Thoughts" for the Ave Maria, the first of which is called "The Secret of Sanctity."
