Kittell for the past two years has been assistant to Father C.V. Neeson, a cousin of Brother Ferdinand, Patrick Neeson at the Church of St. John the Baptist, Pittsburgh. He also attends the West Penn Hospital where there are always between 30 and 60 Catholics. The institution is under Protestant management, but facility is given to Kittell to visit the sick and administer the sacraments.
