Donnelly thanks Hudson for the book, "A Troubled Heart". Besides the work of preparing for commencement, Donnelly has been engaged by a religious order to write an extensive work. She is wounded by the liber ties taken with her article on the "Primacy and Supremacy of St. Peter". Bishop Eugene O'Connell paid a visit to Donnelly after a sojourn to Brooklyn, New Orleans and Pensacola, Florida. He is awaiting the arrival of Archbishop Joseph Alemany from Rome.
