Dorsey, Ella Lorraine, Washington, District of Columbia, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1884
Scope and Contents
Dorsey sent the letter to Professor James Edwards about the bust. A detailed description of her trip home for Notre Dame is given. Mrs. Magdalene Dahlgren and her daughter were seriously injured when their horses ran away with the carriage and caused it to spill. She sends greetings to all she met at Notre Dame especially to Brother Francis Andrew Sweeney for his efforts to show her all of the campus. Dorsey sends the manuscript for "Tom Boy" and "Two Way". Anna Hanson Dorsey declares there is a hitch to their use but Hudson and Thomas Noonan can straighten that out since The Crusader is defunct. :: X-2-m A.L.S. 6pp. 4to.
