Muir, Marion Mackenzie, Morrison, Colorado, to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C., Notre Dame, Indiana, 1883 September 29

 Item — Box: CHUD 5
Identifier: CHUD X-2-m

Scope and Contents

Muir did not write with a view of obtaining information regarding the learned gentleman's whereabouts. She thinks Hudson does quite well away from the University. They are a graceless lot. It would not do for Muir to visit Notre Dame, for after the sordid statement in the last Scholastic the professors would run and hide lest she should borrow money of them. She has seen many photographs of Rome and she is overwhelmed. She saw Correggio's Magdalen but doesn't like it. :: X-2-m A.L. Incomplete 4pp. 12mo.
