O'Cleary thanks Hudson for the 125 francs received for correspondence rendered to the Ave Maria. He assures Hudson that he will send the relics but that there will be some delay. The Cardinal Vicar is strict about granting relics because of unbecoming frauds at Rome. His health is so poor that he must return to Ireland. He is threatened with paralysis.
