Murphy thanks Hudson for copies of the Ave Maria. He plans to remain in Buffalo for about a week and then go to Toronto, Montreal and New York before giving two missions in Pittsburgh. Later he will stop at Chicago from whence he will visit Notre Dame. Murphy intends to send Hudson a copy of the Catholic Knight.
