Father Edward Sorin asked him to get from Hon. Benedict J. Webb, author of letters of "Kentucky Catholic" and one time editor of "Catholic Advocate," his mss. on Father Stephen T. Badin which is ready for publication in the Ave Maria. Webb has been so fine and good a public man that he is left in financial straits in his old age. He himself is not faring well in health these days. P. S.
